The VisionBuilding Bridges for a Brighter Tomorrow
We have to gather the mud
and the straw
To make the bricks
To give to the kids
To build the bridge
To the future.

History
The Lillian Mobley Multipurpose Center was founded in 1983 as the South Central Multipurpose Senior Citizen’s Center by the late Mrs. Lillian Mobley and Mr. Q. Mason. At the time, there was a great need of services for seniors in the community. The organization provided a wide range of services to benefit seniors and their families. After the passing of Lillian Mobley in 2011, the organization was renamed The Lillian Mobley Multipurpose Center. With the nonprofit in the same location since the 1980’s, the Lillian Mobley Multipurpose Center continues to serves the residents in the neighborhood.
